One Fell Swoop Circus

One Fell Swoop creates work that combines a high level of circus skill with rich dramatic perspectives, specialising in traditional theatre shows and large-scale outdoor circus installation works. The company brings the dynamics of acrobatic ensemble work and the relationships within it to circus performance structures.

Recent performance highlights include Xintiandi Festival in Shanghai, IPAY in Philadelphia, festivals in New Zealand and France, as well as regional touring throughout Australia.
​
One Fell Swoop connects a highly skilled ensemble with innovative apparatus, where classic techniques are used in expansive ways and new ideas are made possible.
​
One Fell Swoop Circus is founded and directed by Charice Rust and Jonathan Morgan.

Circus Trick Tease

Circus Trick Tease debuted in 2008 at the Melbourne Fringe, winning the ACAPT and the Peoples Choice Awards. Growing from strength too strength they sold out their 2009 and 2010 Adelaide Fringe seasons before wowing audiences at the 2010 Melbourne International Comedy Festival and dazzling the Scots at the Edinburgh Festival with rave reviews.
The show toured extensively for the next 2 years with highlights including London National Theatre, cabarets attended by Mick Jagger, a 6 week Regional Arts Victoria tour, a NZ season, Adelaide Cabaret Festival and the grand opening of the Hamer Hall, ACMI, Enmore Theatre and the Forum Theatre.
With funding from Creative Arts Victoria, Circus Trick Tease created ‘Straya to focus on national regional tour in 2014/15. Performed by Shannon McGurgan, Farhad Adhadi and Malia Walsh.
The company turned their focus to Children’s Theatre in 2015. Their debut kids show Children are Stinky has won 5 awards and non stop touring from Beijing - Ireland and Wagga Wagga to London. They even got to meet their childhood heros, The Wiggles at a show in Sydney's famous Darling Harbour.
2018 took the company back to mature audiences with “Can’t Face” a dark and moody comedy about the problems of the world we shut out. The show took home 2 awards in it’s debut performance and received half a dozen 5 stars reviews. 2020 saw the launch of 2 brand new shows in Brass Monkeys and Werk It which both rave reviews and dancing options in Perth and Adelaide.

One Fell Swoop uncover the intrinsic metaphor within circus to create stark yet beautiful audience experiences. Based in Melbourne, the company combines ambitious concepts with visceral physicality, bringing audiences the invigorating mix of joy and risk inherent to group acrobatics.

Highwire began in 2006, and has consistently created contemporary physical theatre, circus arts and puppetry to thrill both adults and children. Our exciting performances bring a sense of wonder and joy to our audiences and irreverence to traditional theatre spaces and non- traditional venues. We specialise in presenting the unexpected!
Highwire Entertainment is a partner in Gluttony, one of the biggest hubs at the Adelaide Fringe Festival since 2011, and numerous events in the ACT and Melbourne. From major arts events to children's festivals, Centenary celebrations, music festivals and more, Highwire consistently delivers performances with creativity and a love of the arts which is recognised the world over.

Dislocate
Dislocate are the storytellers of Australian circus. From our fairy show for preschoolers to recently creating a new opera for Vic Opera, we consistently create amazing characters that weave circus tricks seamlessly into a narrative. Our new show ‘3 Speed Crunch Box Re-booted’ was commissioned by Circus OZ for their school’s program and was an instant success. Dislocate are committed to a carbon neutral regional touring program.

After Dark Theatre have been creating and designing circus experiences since our inception in 2007. With humble beginnings as a producer, an MC and handful of circus artists operating out of Melbourne, Australia, After Dark has grown to over 100 highly skilled circus, sideshow and variety artists, along with a team of designers, producers and technical staff. Our international network expands to major companies including Cirque Du Soleil, Circus Oz and many prestigious European circuses.
